Founded by Elle Steele and Erin O’Donoghue in 2019, the aim of The Space is to create an inclusive, thriving community that is much more than just a place to work. From those looking for a place to come and work with like-minded people, a place to hold workshops or participate in community activities such as yoga and mindfulness classes; our space is your space.

Keen community builders and lovers of an event, we can’t wait to bring our combined energy and experience to The Space, building a creative, soulful and friendly place that allows for businesses and personalities from all walks of life to come together.


Erin O’Donoghue

Erin is excited to be surrounded by a supportive and passionate ecosystem of other business owners who will make up The Space Community.

Erin, also Founder and Principal at Hive Collective launched her consultancy out of a passion for sharing her knowledge in Human Centred Design/Design Thinking, Innovation and Creativity. Erin is passionate about how these techniques can be used to solve the complex problems that face our organisations and broader society.

Erin's has a background in Leadership, Capability Development, Culture and Change. These skills have assisted Erin in seeing what works and what gets in the way of successful change.

Erin's ability to be creative and unlock innovative thinking, helps others tap into their curiosity and creativity to enable a fresh approach to solving challenges.

Erin is a proud alumnus of the Leadership Victoria Williamson Community Leadership Program (2016), and a graduate of Stanford University’s Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.school), one of the most highly regarded institutions of Design Thinking in the world.


Elle Steele

A passionate community builder and events specialist, Elle is eager to get to see the individuals thrive in The Space Community.

Also the woman behind @iamellesteele and Find your Freedom Elle is a gifted Light Leader who connects women with their personal power. Elle’s mission has been to make women’s businesses more magical through uncovering their desires for change.

Elle’s background includes 13 years as a swimmer, representing Australia at the 2000 Paralympic Games. Throughout her swimming and rugby career, Elle’s resilience has allowed her to overcome intense physical challenges.

Since hanging up the swimming cap, Elle worked in large corporations in change management and advocacy programs, including disability support, education and mentorship.
